2nd Babies "R" Us Launch Class is March 19th!

Our second launch class at Babies "R" Us will be this coming Wednesday, March 19th. This class will be more baby-centered, focusing on ages newborn - 18 months. Our last class quickly filled to capacity so please be sure to RSVP with your child's name via email.  Here are all the details on the fun:

Join Us at Babies "R" Us March 19th

Our launch event inside Babies "R" Us in Allen yesterday was a huge hit! We met lots of nice, new people and are excited for our second launch event on the 19th. Because yesterday's event was such a success and because we were at capacity, we will have to limit the number of spots for the event on the 19th. This will be our final FREE event before we begin booking the class to be held at this location. Community Highlight: Fire Safety Family Night


We've always got our eyes on the lookout for FREE family events. Our local Frisco Fire Department is offering a free event every Friday through August 23rd. Education + family time = WIN!

Learn the principles of fire safety at this family night led by firefighters. Located inside the Central Fire Station.

Community Highlight: Jammin in June

The city of McKinney is putting on a summer concert series called "Jammin in June." This is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy music together in the evenings when it is has cooled off. All the concerts will be held at picturesque Towne Lake Park. The best part: it's FREE!

Join us for this popular music series at Towne Lake Park. The free outdoor concert series runs three consecutive Thursday evenings inJune from 7:30-9pmGroups will perform on McKinney's portable stage, which will sit in the clearing near the volleyball court, providing plenty of lawn seating. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs or a picnic basket, but alcohol is not allowed in city parks. The Jammin' in June series is a collaborative effort of the McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.

FREE Event: Bubble Party



We are pleased to announce that we are hosting another FREE event. Please join us for a fun morning of bubble play! This event is for children of all ages so feel free to invite your friends!

What: Bubble Play
Time: 10-11 a.m.
When: April 19, 2013
Where: Towne Lake Park, McKinney (1405 Wilson Creek Parkway @ Central Expressway)

There are many developmental benefits to bubble play. For toddlers and infants in particular, bubble play helps with hand-eye coordination, motor skills and language development and so much more!
